Let's talk about Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective
Oh Ghost Trick, you’re a very amazing game.. Created by Shu Takumi of Phoenix Wright Fame has done it again I must say. You play as Sissel a recently deceased spirit who finds out he has “the power of the dead” which allows him to manipulate objects and go 4 minutes before a persons death to alter their fate. I can’t really say much more because it’s all a mystery...

My Favorite Nostalgic Video Games #01
This game, is the most important game in our day and age. It has one of the most compelling stories and like EarthBound makes you feel like you are actually a part of this world. I remember the first time I saw the trailer to this game, I lived in Chula Vista California on E Donahoe and pretended I was Cloud Strife everyday while playing by our pool everyday. Then when I first played it my dad...

I know you’re most definitely sick of seeing this game on my blog, but how could you happen to not talk about this all the time when no one played it and you have and it’s amazing. The fact is this game never did well, it did so bad and has so many issues it will never make it to Wii’s Virtual Console. It’s one of the most amazing games I’ve ever...

I can’t get over this game… I have yet to play Marvel vs. Capcom 3 but as far as I can see without playing MvC3 I feel like MvC2 is still a better game, it may not actually be but everything about it was perfect. It was the greatest game to have been released for the Dreamcast. It also single handedly resurrected the Arcade, next to DDR I guess.

The first time I played this game my friend Brandon had us over to play it after school, we all ended up staying the night. I always loved Ness but so did Brandon, so we’d both fight between him. I always beat him out so he’d switch over to Kirby.

I just started playing this game again, I can’t help but do so. It’s probably the greatest game to be released for the SNES (next to another one of my favorite SNES games). The first time I played this game I was kind of scared. I don’t really know why now but it creeped me out, I guess just the eerie feeling of it all.

This game was my childhood. There was no game that made my Gameboy feel more useful than this one. I also loved Red Version but Blue was just my favorite, I loved Blastoise I still love playing these games it’s been so long since the first two and it’s just the most entertaining game you could get into. I remember when I first stopped playing these games was when Silver and Gold came...

I just recently replayed this game, I can always count on this one being entertaining to me I remember when I was a kid I’d play it all the time but played on my dad’s file so I would already be done with the game and just get to play. I can’t help but love this game so much I don’t think anyone could.

God, the first time I played this game I was hooked, it also got my dad and all my friends. None of us would play any other game, it was always who was the best at Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater. I think if I played this game today I’d love it just as much.

I remember playing this game all the time at my neighbor Duke’s house all the time, I always played as Nightcrawler and we’d always play after watching X-Men on Fox. We would always get to the same place where you’re supposed to turn off your Genesis and it’ll allow you to continue to the next stage, we never knew that. It’s a little silly to do something like that...

I always really loved Tetris, but it wasn’t until my girlfriend got interested in it that I started playing it all the time. This game is truly the most addictive puzzler ever. It also helps when it comes to packing, true story. The first time I played this is when my parents bought me my Game Boy, My aunt had one and I’d play Tetris on her GB all the time.

Look, I loved Street Fighter II, I just loved Mortal Kombat a little bit more, why? Gore, yeah, I loved that it had blood and hearts being ripped out, I also loved horror movies. I love things that scare me which also meant violence. I wasn’t allowed to play with toy guns or listen to rap, my parents even took away my NES Zapper when it broke and I took it outside to use it to act like I...

Oh man I loved this game, I was never that great but I loved it anyways. My cousin would always just play as Ryu and attack me from afar, I always played as Sagat. I actually played as Sagat for a real long time. Either way I sucked it wasn’t until later sequels that I got better and better, The music and stages you’d fight in were amazing! I played this game every weekend at my neighbors house before I got my own Genesis, I was younger so I was always forced to play as Tails which was fine when I was young I liked Tails a lot more. My neighbors name was Duke, it was the funniest thing ever, he was also the reason why I first played another game on this list, but I’m not gonna talk about that just yet.

Oh Jet Grind Radio, how I love thee. I remember when I heard about this game it was still called Jet Set Radio, it also was a long wait for it and I was impatient. So to say the least I was really jazzed about...

This story may sound a bit weird but it’s how I remember it and as far as I can remember pretty much exactly how it happened, I even remember living at Flower St. in Chula Vista, CA at the time. It was Thanksgiving, 1992 (I think, I was young.) and we my mom and grandpa were making dinner, my dad, uncle and I played Splatterhouse 2, then we found out my grand mother was shot, she was fine...

StarTropics is one of those games I’d never be able to play if it wasn’t for the internet, due to the fact that I did not play this game when it was new. I have only played this game through a couple times but it’s definitely a game you should have on your Virtual Console if you’re a fan of old platform adventure games. I remember when I beat this game I was so pleased...

In 1996 Nintendo bestowed on us the Nintendo 64, and it was glorious. I remember the first day that I played the N64, My uncle had brought it home and him, my dad and I played this game until I had to go to bed, for all I know they kept playing but I was a child who had to go back to school. I have been playing this on my Wii as of late and I just remember good memories from it.

Ah, this is one game I will never get sick of. I’ve beat it numerous times and am obsessed with doing better and better at it. The last time I played it was about a week ago when I found out I died a total of 11 times which is probably my best play through yet. The first time I played this game I remember it was raining, my family was getting ready to take my sister and I to Sea World, but...

One of my favorite games and memories of my dad and I playing games. I got this game around the time my dad got his stereo system, so he’d always turn it on while we’d play, sometimes I’d just play in the dark and get so freaked out by what I would hear behind me when it was either one of my parents coming into the living room. I always died when that happened, I’d be too...

I’ve been playing this game a lot with friends lately and it made me think, “Why have I not been playing this more!?” It’s so much fun, almost too much! It’s like the first time I played it all over, except I remembered all the courses and tricks to them. Either way this game is so much fun and I really wish my girlfriend could play with me but, she gets motion...

I remember every time I’d play this game with friends we thought the guards were saying “hm, mr. box” and not “hm, what’s in the box?”. I think we were right and they were saying Mr. Box, because why would they wonder what’s in the random box on the floor and not the millions piled along the walls? Well whatever, MGS was amazing, I still own this game,...

Holy crap! I love this game, I have owned it every possible way you can and never get tired of it. If you’ve ever played a Megaman game then you know how hard it is. I hadn’t beat this game until about 2004, I just never had the patients or ninja skills to beat it. I had gotten through Megaman 1 and 2 just put me on pause with the rest of the series. Once I beat this game I had never...

If there was one game I could play forever, this might be the one..This game is genius, it’s the best game to come out at the beginning of the 3D over 2D platform and it did it the greatest, not saying there was a problem with others but this honestly was amazing! I remember going into Babages (yeah weird right?) and pre-ordering this with my dad just to get the gold cartridge, it’d...

Oh man, I remember this game as much as I remember the music I was listening to while I’d play this game. I’d usually play my big grey gameboy, almost more so than I’d touch any console, and this game was to blame for it. This was probably actually the first game I beat on my own, because I felt forced to with battery life. I even remember the day I beat it, My family and I had...

Holy crap was this game amazing! The last time I played it must have been in 2005, My friend Brad and I played it at a taco shop.. Before that… God, it’s been so long that I have no clue.
